In January, “Summer House” stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced they were separating after four years of marriage. However, their relationship faced several challenges along the way, including rumors of infidelity surrounding Cooke, the strain of navigating different career paths, and talks to start a family.
In a new interview with Marie Claire, Batula offered an in-depth timeline of her split from Cooke, what eventually led to the couple making the joint decision to separate, and why they still share a deep affection for one another.

Bravo Amanda Batula opened up to Marie Claire about her split from Kyle Cooke, offering an inside look at what led to their separation and setting the record straight on rumors that they were already broken up during season 10 of “Summer House,” which is currently airing.
“Me mudé en noviembre. Estábamos separados, pero acordamos no ver a nadie más. El plan era salir juntos, trabajar en nuestra relación y tomarnos un tiempo. Batula called putting out their joint statement, “a sad moment, but also a relief, and I’m really happy we did it together.”
As for why the two ultimately decided to call it quits on their marriage, she told Marie Claire, “But it just got to a point where I knew I had given the relationship everything I had, and there was no fight left in me. We looked at each other like, This isn’t going to go anywhere .”

“God, that was really rough. I definitely disassociated in the moment. You can see me shut down and go into my own world. I didn’t even know he said half of those things because I couldn’t hear him. No personality? A [expletive] has personality, okay!? I wouldn’t be on TV if I didn’t!”
Still, Batula wanted to make it clear that she has a lot of love for Cooke, even sharing that he does not deserve any hate coming his way.

“Esta es la primera vez que espero con ansias el cambio y lo veo como algo realmente bueno. Lo que está destinado para mí encontrará su camino hacia mí. Las cosas sucederán cuando se supone que deben suceder”, dijo Batula.
