Esta noche es la entrega de las estuatillas de oro. Así que ya está todo listo para la entrega de los premios Oscars que se celebran en el Dolby Theatre en Los Angeles.

Te cuento que ser nominado al Oscar no es sólo un increíble reconocimiento a la trayectoria que abre puertas, sino que trae además un sinnúmero de beneficios. Uno de ellos es recibir una bolsa que contiene todo tipo de productos, y que este año ha sido valorada en 100 mil dólares.

En los últimos 16 años la compañía Distintive Assets envía regalos a los nominados, que incluyen vales para un viaje de doce días a Tanzania con todos los gastos pagados; otro de siete días a Hawái, una estancia en una lujosa villa en Haidikiki, en Grecia, y una semana de alojamiento en un spa cerca de San Diego, además de una donación de 10 mil dólares de comida para perros al refugio de su preferencia. A todo ello hay que sumar diez sesiones con un entrenador personal; joyas, todo tipo de cosméticos; un kit para elaborar su árbol genealógico; velas, libros, dulces e incluso naranjas orgánicas.

A diferencia de los Globos de Oro, en los Oscars, los nominados y demás invitados no tienen que recoger los regalos al final de la gala, sino que son enviados a sus residencias o a los hoteles en los que se alojan los nominados.
